What you’ll do
Refugees often face many social and economic challenges while living in their new communities. These challenges, coupled with the long struggle of securing a valid resident permit or document, make it difficult for them to pursue their desired careers.
In this experience, you will inspire refugees in Germany to pursue their dream careers amid challenging situations. The session will begin with a brief introduction to the activity before you and your team enters breakout rooms to connect and interact with the nonprofit’s beneficiaries. You will have the opportunity to listen to the beneficiaries’ stories and share your personal experiences and perspectives on pursuing a career. Finally, everyone will reconvene in the main room for a general Q&A.
How you’ll make impact
Liberty Experience provides safe spaces and opportunities for displaced migrants to integrate and economically contribute to the German community. By participating in this session, you will support our mission through the following specific (2021) goals:
– Give 50 musically talented refugees platforms to build their own brands
– Provide opportunities to 150 refugees integrate into the German community

– Engage in the challenge of solving the global challenge of inequality through economic empowerment
