Practice inclusivity by coming together as a work team to listen to the stories of refugees in Germany, while supporting programs that provide safe spaces for displaced migrants to integrate into their new communities.
What you’ll do
For this experience, your team will have the opportunity to listen to up to five different individuals about their displacement from their home country, and their subsequent relocation to Germany.
The session will begin with a brief summary about the speakers’ lives. After hearing these introductions, you and your team will split into groups to interact more closely with at least one of the speakers. Depending on the number of participants, the groups will consist of up to eight participants. In these breakout groups, you will hear details about a displaced migrant’s authentic experience, with the opportunity to ask questions and if possible, offer brief coaching to the speaker.
Finally, the group will reconvene for a general Q&A and to share your takeaways.

Liberty Experience provides safe spaces and opportunities for displaced migrants to integrate and economically contribute to the German community. By participating in this session, you will support our mission through the following specific (2021) goals:
– Give 50 musically talented refugees platforms to build their own brands
– Provide opportunities to 150 refugees integrate into the German community

This experience will be conducted over Zoom. Before the event, you will receive a link for the call. Participants will be encouraged to have their cameras on during the experience.
