At Liberty Experience, our major focus is to utilize the power of music to impact the welfare/lives of migrants and helping them thrive successfully wherever they are. We’ve found music to be an incredibly powerful tool to achieve this goal, which is why it’s evident at the core of everything we do.

Now, we’re also taking this initiative further by attempting to showcase the stories of the people who create the music and their own life so that other people can learn from them and be inspired by them.

One of the ways we’ve chosen to do this is a quick drive into the life of each artist we’ve partnered with and have them tell these stories themselves. It’s in a Q&A format and we’ll be releasing the stories as often as possible, both on this blog and our social media channels (head over to our Instagram page here: www.instagram.com/libertyexperience to get more updates).

Today, we have the pleasure of having showbid talk to us about himself, his childhood, the type of music he does, etc.
showbid (real name: Shobhit Arora) is a Munich-based singer, songwriter, and lyricist. He has released a number of tracks including “Forgive Me” which is his first major track that has gotten a lot of attention and streams from his fans. He has worked with the Liberty Experience team on a number of projects and he’s here today to share his story with us!

Q 1: At what age did you start performing music?
I started performing music with my brother when we were singing for our religious community.

Q 2: How does music support you?
It gives me love, peace, and joy. It helps me overcome various kinds of bad situations and something about music makes me feel that things are going to be alright.

Q 3: Do you want to earn money in the music industry?
Of course. I would love to be able to make some money while impacting life with my music.

Q 4: How did you get to know about Liberty Experience?
I was looking for a possibility to perform at the events, especially the Open RemoteStage which I really enjoyed doing – it was full of positive vibes!

Q 5: How has Liberty Experience helped your music career?
A stage and lots of positivity and inspiration!

Q 6: What skills could you improve with Liberty Experience?
Performing on stage, perceiving a greater purpose of music, and finding other artists to exchange with.

For now, there is nothing uploaded. But soon there will be on all the streaming platforms and on social media.
